A multinational company located in El Shaikh Zayed, 6th of October is looking to hire "Demand Planner"
Job Description:
-Develops demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons which will be used as basis in the S&OP process.
-Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models & evaluates forecast results.
-Works with the Sales & Marketing teams to integrate market intelligence into the forecasts.
-Monitors & reports on significant variances between sales forecasts, budgets & business plans.
-Coordinates cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances & refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales & marketing assumptions.
-Schedules & leads monthly Pre-CVP meetings with commercial team.
-Provides input to Supply Planning in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products & product phase-outs.
-Measures & reports forecast accuracy.
- Works with customers, commercial team & supply chain team to improve forecast accuracy.
Qualifications:
- University degree.
- 2-4 years of experience
- Fluent in Arabic & English
