HSE Advisor, Riyadh, KSA

Your responsibilities

• Complete and thorough awareness of ABB Way standards and act accordingly.
• Implement, monitor and, or comply with the HSE management system, including but not limited to HSE policies, standard operating procedures, PTW, method statements, risk assessments / work instructions and associated system tools in service jobs.
• Support the team in hazard identification exercises and risk assessment based on ABB way requirements.
• Facilitate and participate in regular safety audits and inspections and site visits and ensure the activities are being performed based on HSE plan and RAMS.
• Participates in regular HSE meetings with the contractors and related interested parties with the view to discussing HSE concerns and actions common to all.
• Follow the standard guidelines for incident management and assist for investigation as per standard requirements.
• To Participate and follow up with self-Assessments, NCR, Tool Box Talks and all HSE requirements.
• To participate in customer meeting at certain level and maintain a healthy relation in liaising with business and functional management.
• Monthly dash boards and HSE Metrics
• Reports safety incidents. Feeds back on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and across ABB to management and employees.
• Continues Improvement, Drive behavioral change through implementing Group-wide performance improvement programs and practices locally to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture.
• Conduct all HSE document reviews, Ensure that all contractors provide task specific risk assessments for all planned tasks Formal review of all Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure compliance with best Safety Practices. Maintain files on-site.

Your background

• Ideally you'll hold a Bachelor's Degree in HSE or Electrical Engineering, with NEBOSH,IOSH , NVQ qualification, with 3 years plus in HSE.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal, is required.
• Power point and other computer skills for IS tools.
