A multi-national organization is offering a unique opportunity to play a key operational role in a well-known pharmaceutical company. We are Hiring a highly motivated and well-organized Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity and insure highest conformity with Supply Chain Excellence and Best Practices. Ideally the candidate will have an experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
This positon will have a solid-line reporting to the Site Head and a dotted-line reporting to the Corporate Supply Chain Director. The role is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Experience & Education:
·Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree is a plus)
·8+ years total experience with a minimum of 3 years in managing end-to-end supply chain processes
·APIC’s certificates (CSCP / CPIM) and/or Six Sigma Lean Green Belt preferred
Hands on experience with ERP and supply chain management software (such as SAP MM/WM, AP Modules, SAP PP, etc.)
·Experience in managing talented teams and resources on multiple assignments running simultaneously
·Compliance with Health & Safety, Global Quality and Regulatory disciplines.
·Sound understanding of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP’s (Good Distribution Practices) with knowledge in updated INCOTERMS and its implications on the business
·Strong negotiation skills with the capability to participate in multidisciplinary discussions / negotiations, both in-house and with clients / Suppliers
·Positive can-do attitude with infectious enthusiasm and the ability to influence others and deliver results.
·Excellent understanding of leading business practices and working with large scale operations
·Experience of financial planning and control including managing both revenue and capital budgets.
·An understanding of the wider pharmaceutical industry and the impact of internal cross-functional relationships.
·Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to forge effective relationships with key decision makers
·Excellent command in English both orally and writing

- Adhere to and implement the overall Supply Chain Strategy, Policies and Procedures
- Managing end-to-end Supply Chain processes including Sales Operations, Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics (In-bound and Out-bound logistics, Warehouses & Distribution) and Inventory Management with all relevant tasks and activities
- Achieve and recommend a set of KPIs while ensure that the team will not become solely focused on their KPI’s as a single measure of their success
- Identify processes bottlenecks, promote and recommend solutions for overall Supply Chain optimization
- Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives within Supply Chain, Logistics, Operational Efficiency and Inventory optimization
- Effectively participate in company’s S&OP process and its related periodic meetings
- Assure that the internal and external customers are always getting what they are looking for the best way to serve the business
- Participate in COGS reduction and improve the organization’s financial position
