Quality Health Safety Security & Environment Specialist

Qualification Required
Relevant Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years' experience in QHSSE or Marine environment
Relevant QHSSE certification (eg NEBOSH) or Qualifications & seagoing experience as a certified ship officer
Knowledge of international and national codes, guidelines and standards such as ISO (9001, 14001, 45001), ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL etc. is a plus
Excellent proficiency in English
Strong communication and presentation skills
Eligible to work in Egypt without sponsorship

Key Responsibilities
Actively promote the Company's QHSSE Policy and its Management System in Egypt
Develop & maintain awareness among personnel through communications, training & promoting active involvement of employees in Quality & HSE
Compile & evaluate HSE statistics by gathering & analyzing data from hazardous occurrences, hazardous situations, near miss incidents & accidents & apply the lessons learnt
Support & assist management in investigations of failures and accidents
Planning & participating in QHSSE, ISM, ISPS and MLC Internal Audits on board ships & facilities
Conducting/reviewing shipboard Risk Assessments
