A Leading Multinational Company will operate in Egypt soon is seeking to hire the below:
Title : Senior (R&D) Specialist
Industry: Food Production
work location: Mokattam, Obour, Badr
JD:
1.Managing new product development projects.
2.Generating new product ideas and recipes.
3.Modifying and improving existing recipes.
4.Study the ingredient list and the recipe for the new project.
5.Designing processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale.
6.Investigate the sensory and nutritional properties of products.
7.Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met.
8.Monitoring the use of additives.
9.Contact with technical supplier to discuss together the technical issue.
10. Contact with our purchasing team to prepare the ingredients sample.
11. Testing and examining samples.
12. Review specifications of all raw materials and update as necessary.
13. Select raw materials and ingredients that result in enhancing quality and cost reduction.
14. Update the existing products specifications & perform processes and shelf-life tests.
Qualification:
· Bachelor's Degree in a related field required (Food Science, Chemical, Agricultural, Biological or Food Engineering).
·7 - 10 years of Experience is required.
·Strong computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
·Strong understanding of principles of food chemistry and ingredients functionality is desirable.
·Problem solving
·Good decision-making skills and sound judgement
