Quality Control Head
Job purpose:
The Quality Control Head is responsible for ensuring the finished product meets quality standards, regulations, and customer specifications. This includes overseeing the QC department's daily operations, developing and implementing QC procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with other departments to resolve quality issues
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field like Food Science or Food Technology (Faculty of Science) • 5+ years of experience in QC within the tomato paste manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards like HACCP and ISO standards.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC processes and food safety regulations . Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards).
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant food safety standards.
. Experience with food analysis and testing techniques.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
