Production Planning Engineer

Job Title: Production Planning Engineer Location: East Port Said - NERIC Department: Planning
NERIC is seeking a Production Planning Engineer with a strong manufacturing background in automotive or rolling stock to join our East Port Said facility
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed production schedules for vehicles, subassemblies, and components.
Align production plans with capacity, labor and material availability using ERP/MRP systems SAP / Oracle IFS)
. Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and shop floor teams to monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and meet delivery deadlines.
Analyze production KPIs (efficiency, on-time delivery, capacity utilization) and drive improvements using Lean / Six Sigma practices
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and . industry standards (ISO/TS 16949, EN 15085, IRIS)

Requirements: Bachelor's in industrial mechanical . production engineering or related field • 3-5 years' experience in production planning in automotive or rolling stock manufacturing; high-mix, low-volume experience is a strong plus. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems,

BOMs, routings, and capacity planning. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and

communication skills. Preferred certifications: CPIM, Lean Six Sigma . Green/Black Belt
